Margot Robbie Excited to Work With Harley Quinn and Joker Movie Directors

Actress Margot Robbie, who rose to fame after portraying Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad," is now all geared up to explore the future of her character in the upcoming Joker and Harley Quinn movie. Recently, the actress talked about how excited she was to work again with renowned filmmakers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa for her next project.

Following the success of the first "Suicide Squad" movie, DC announced that a sequel to it was already in the works. Aside from that, there is likely going to be another movie focusing on two of the most popular members of the squad, Harley Quinn and Joker. Although the studio has yet to give its official word on who will helm this Joker and Harley-centered film, it was reported earlier this month that Ficarra and Requa were in talks to write and direct it.

Starring Jared Leto and Robbie, the movie is one of the most highly anticipated DC films in the pipeline today, which is not surprising, considering how their romantic team-up made noise across the globe after "Suicide Squad."

As for Robbie, the idea of working with Ficarra and Requa for her next movie with Leto is an exciting one to chew on.

In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she is nothing but thrilled to work with the two directors, especially since she had already experienced doing so in the past. The two men helmed the 2015 movie "Focus," which was top-billed by Robbie and Will Smith, as well as last year's "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot," which she starred in with Tina Fay.

"I heard that too," the actress told SuperHeroHype when she was asked about the possibility of collaborating with Ficarra and Requa again. "They're great! It's fun working with a directing duo, and I love them. I've obviously done two films with them so I think they're just brilliant."

Robbie also teased that her upcoming movie with Leto would be "romantic in a messed up way."
