Mark Wahlberg Tattoo Removal Used to Deter Kids
Actor Mark Wahlberg has decided to have his tattoos removed and is using the experience to deter his own kids from getting tattoos of their own in the future.
Wahlberg reportedly has four tattoos; a Sylvester the cat and Tweety Bird on his ankle, his initials MW with his surname on his upper right arm, a Bob Marley tattoo and the words "One Love" on his upper left arm, and a rosary tattooed around his neck, with a crucifix and the words "In God I Trust" resting over his heart.
Earlier this year the actor said that he was in the process of having all four tattoos removed, saying that his career and his children had convinced him to make the change.
"I don't want my kids getting tattoos. And I wanted them to be [gone] by the time I did 'The Fighter' because putting make-up on and covering them up has always been a pain in the butt," Wahlberg said. "I've taken my two older kids to the procedure so they see how painful it is and what I have to go through."
Wahlberg has four children with wife Rhea Durham; Ella Rae, Michael Robert, Brendan Joseph and Grace Margaret.
