'Married at First Sight' season 3 renewed or canceled?
The first season of "Married at First Sight" was considered a success because two out of the three pairs have remained married after six months. But with a zero marital success in the second season, a third installation for the reality show is now doubtful.
Married at First Sight season 2's three couples got divorced in the end, and one of the stars filed a restraining order against her spouse. This situation threw the reality show in a doubtful light and there are now speculations that the experimental show will not be renewed, according to Realty Today.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Married at First Sight executive director Sam Dean explained that their four experts are behind the love matches, not the producers. The candidates all go through a stringent process involving record checks and personality and psychological tests.

"These are really, really, all sophisticated assessment. So they are traditionally used by organizations such as the FBI or the CIA," said Dean. "This isn't just a gimmick. This is an experiment that we've proven now works."
The first franchise of Married at First Sight, which was based in Denmark, had a remarkable success rate.
However, the results were not duplicated in the show's second season and some of the candidates have already backed out, the report details.
Despite the sour outcome of Married at First Sight UK, its Australian franchise will be renewing for another season. The last installment produced only one successful marriage, Master Herald reports.
As for the U.S. franchise, 20,000 individuals have already applied to be part of the experimental show, executive producer Chris Coelen said.
Meanwhile, the official Facebook page of Married at First sight still has not posted any updates regarding its third season. Furthermore, the website dedicated to its casting calls has been shut down. The page only encourages fans to stay tuned for future updates.
