'Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite' News: Devs Showcase Pre-Order Costumes Players Can Acquire
Characters getting pre-order costumes are Ryu, Mega Man X, Thor and the Hulk
"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" is almost here, and while fans count down the days to its official release, they can still put in their pre-orders and get their hands on some special costumes.
Developers are offering four downloadable content costumes as pre-order bonuses.
The first of these pre-order bonuses is a new costume for the "Street Fighter" franchise's stoic leading man, though he does not appear to be as reserved while donning this new skin.
The "Evil Ryu" costume is a distinct one, as it turns the hair of this familiar character white and his eyes take on a different color as well. Beyond that, Ryu also gains some special markings on his body and it also appears as though he will become capable of exuding a new and more malevolent aura.
Fans who pre-order the upcoming fighting game are also going to get the "Warrior Thor" costume. "Warrior Thor's" hair is cropped close and his upper body is also uncovered.
Those two costumes are going to be provided to the fans who get either the Standard or Deluxe edition of "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" and they can also be seen in the brief video embedded below.
As fans may have noticed, there are two extra costumes being offered as well.
The latter two costumes – "Gladiator Hulk" and "Command Mission X" – are items players can receive if they pre-order the Deluxe edition of "Infinite."
The already very intimidating Hulk appears even more powerful while decked out in his special armor, while the "Command Mission" costume for X looks stylish and well-designed for battle.
Notably, there is also an Amazon listing online which suggests that a "Major Carol Danvers" costume for Captain Marvel will also be made available exclusively to PS4 players.
More news about "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" should be made available soon, and the game itself is due out on Sept. 19.
