'Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite' Rumors: Supposed Leak Names the First Six DLC Characters Who Will Be Released

Sigma has already been confirmed as one of the game's post-launch DLC characters

"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will receive downloadable content support following its Sept. 19 arrival. But to this point, developers have yet to fully flesh out their plans.

Thus far, the only things that have been revealed when it comes to DLC is that there are six characters set to be released post-launch and that one of those six will be Sigma.

Now, a new possible leak has listed the names of the other five DLC characters.

According to this post from Redditor "SeraphimWing," the Capcom characters who will be released alongside Sigma are Monster Hunter from the "Monster Hunter" series and "Street Fighter's" Gill.

The mention of Gill is interesting, since as EventHubs pointed out, this is the first time any kind of supposed leak has identified him as a potential DLC character.

Meanwhile, the DLC characters coming from the Marvel side will supposedly be the Black Panther, Winter Soldier and Venom.

The inclusion of Venom is also noteworthy. NeoGAF user "Ryce" named Venom as a DLC character months ago. Notably, "Ryce" has already leaked accurate information related to "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" before so that revelation has gained a little more traction among fans.

Going back to the Reddit post, "SeraphimWing" also claimed that the DLC characters will be made available in pairs, with Sigma and Black Panther the first twosome set to be released on Oct. 3.

Pairs of characters will be sold for $9.99, according to the possible leak, while an individual character will be made available for $5.99.

There are supposedly other DLC items aside from characters that may be offered as well, ranging from game modes and even stages.

Unfortunately, the sources of these DLC details remain unnamed so it is hard to really put complete trust in the contents of this possible leak.

The good news for fighting game fans is that with "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" releasing in a few days, it may not be long before developers reveal more about their DLC plans.
