Mary-Kate Olsen Sparks Marriage Rumors in The Hamptons; Olivier Sarkozy Sports Matching Gold Band
Mary-Kate Olsen sparked marriage rumors last week when she was photographed wearing what appeared to be a gold wedding band.
The fashion mogul, best known for her role as role Michelle Tanner on the ABC sitcom "Full House," was photographed eating lunch in the Hamptons with her fiance Olivier Sarkozy on September 19. The couple each wore matching gold rings on their left hands which stunned onlookers.
Olsen, 28, got engaged to Sarkozy, 45, in March and she has been spotted flaunting a diamond engagement ring ever since. The new gold band prompted some fans to ask whether the couple may have secretly wed.
Sarkozy, who works at global asset management firm Carlyle, has been involved with the former child star since 2012. He has two children, a son Julien, 14, and a daughter Margot, 11, from a previous marriage and Olsen is often photographed bonding with them.
Earlier this month Olsen was spotted with the billionaire at the US Open and they appeared happier than ever.
"They were very lovey-dovey, a lot of PDA," an insider told E! News. "Nothing inappropriate, but very affectionate. She and Olivier were in high spirits, laughing and chatting with Ashley."
Since starring in "Full House," Olsen and her twin sister Ashley have starred in two other sitcoms "Two of a Kind and So Little Time" and an animated series "Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action!", both of which lasted one season.
Olsen was also featured in the movies "Factory Girl" and "The Wackness," and also landed a recurring role on Showtime's "Weeds" in which she played Tara Lindman.
The Olsen sisters decided to retire from acting in 2012 in order to pursue their fashion careers.
The famous sisters own various couture fashion labels, including "The Row," "Elizabeth and James", "Olsenboye", and "StyleMint."
