'Mass Effect: Andromeda' DLC: Lead Designer Teases What's in Store

Although "Mass Effect: Andromeda" was met with positive feedback, it did not come without flaws. Of course, gamers can expect BioWare to improve the game.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" lead designer Ian S. Frazer took to Twitter to promise fans that the support for the space shooter will be immense.

"We're looking at patching lots of issues and want to strongly support the game moving forward. I can't say more just yet," Frazer said in one tweet.

He also said that they might do something about the character customization tool in "Mass Effect: Andromeda," which some gamers felt was limited.

"Can't promise anything yet, but we're currently evaluating various options for making it better," Frazer said of the criticized "Mass Effect: Andromeda" feature.

BioWare did address some of the most glaring issues during the game's launch with a massive patch, which should fix audio problems as well as improve on the overall performance of the game.

Some to be noted include the cinematics, conversations, and other character interactions in "Mass Effect: Andromeda," which were the subject of many early grumbles by fans.

Apart from much-needed fixes, the new "Mass Effect" game will also receive post-launch support from BioWare, the specifics of which remain a mystery at the moment.

BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn, however, confirmed on Twitter that their approach on downloadable content (DLC) for "Mass Effect Andromeda" will be like that of "Mass Effect 3."

This means that in the latest iteration of the franchise, gamers will get free multiplayer maps. This also means that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" DLCs will not be offered in a Season Pass bundle, and will instead be sold separately.

There is no word yet with regard to BioWare's plans to release single-player content so fans will have to simply keep their eyes peeled for announcements.
