'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date, News: Latest Gameplay Trailer Reveals Facial Animation May Have Been Fixed Already
Intergalactic adventures and conquests have always been one of the usual topics in modern gaming. If there was one title that would come to mind, the Mass Effect series is arguably one of those at the top of the list, and it returns with the latest installment "Mass Effect: Andromeda."
Before the title finally launches next month on all platforms, a quick but comprehensive view of weapons and skills was featured on the game's official website. It details the basic movement of the Pathfinder with the help of a jump-jet that even allows hovering while targeting enemies. Four categories of weapons are also enumerated in the summary.
What's unique about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is the fact that weapons have no class restrictions, unlike previous installments. This allows the player to fully customize his character to the full extent, and the possibilities are endless.
A video was also released to show exactly what the weapons, skills and maneuvers look like in the upcoming title. What was more noticeable, however, was how this time around the facial animation of the characters was smoother and more life-like than before.
It can be recalled during the Video Game Awards last December 2016 that BioWare released a gameplay trailer for the game. Just like the most recent teaser showcasing the skills of the Pathfinder, gaming aficionados were in awe of the mobility and the exciting controls presented, but how the main character's face moved became a concern.
Netizens quickly aired their concern via Twitter, asking if it was already the final product or if there will still be any fixes to be done before launch. To this query, BioWare creative director Mac Walters rushed to assure the fans that everything will be polished. With the most recent clip, it looks like they have done it.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" arrives on PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and PC platforms on March 21, 2017.
