'MasterChef Junior' News: Chef Graham Elliot To Leave the Show?
After six seasons of "MasterChef" and four seasons of "MasterChef Junior," host and judge Graham Elliot will finally be leaving the Fox reality TV show. Elliot is said to leave the "MasterChef" franchise after this season ends.
According to Variety, the Chicago-based chef will just complete the fourth season of "MasterChef Junior" before leaving the cooking competition. Elliot says that being on "MasterChef" is an "awesome experience," and he learned a lot while on the show.
"I learned so much from the people I got to work with and it has been a true honor to share my love of cooking with the audiences who have allowed me into their homes over the last six years. I remain committed to using my passion for cooking as a way to entertain and teach people of all ages, and will be making some exciting announcements about the next steps of that journey in the new year," the 38-year-old chef said. He currently judges the show with Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi, and the 49-year-old British chef said that Elliot will always be part of the "MasterChef family."
As previously reported, Elliot is now exploring other ventures, and he just recently released his own cookbook, which is titled "Cooking Like a Master Chef: 100 Recipes to Make the Everyday Extraordinary." The new cookbook gives the readers straightforward cooking instructions and other kitchen tips such as how to find alternatives for seasonal ingredients.
Meanwhile, Ian and Jesse were the last two kiddie chefs that got eliminated from the competition, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry. Even if they left the show early, the two young chefs are still happy to have been a part of the competition.
There are only 10 cooks left in the running to become the next "MasterChef Junior," and they are
Addison, Amaya, Avery, Corey, JJ, Kaitlyn, Kamilly, Kya, Sam, and Zac.
Watch "MasterChef Junior" every Friday on Fox.
