'MasterChef' US season 6 episode 18 spoiler alert!
The hit reality cooking competition is back this year on its sixth season, and with just four competitors left, fans cannot wait to know who will win "MasterChef" US.
The reality TV show is hosted and judged by Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot, and Christina Tosi. Tosi replaced Joe Bastianich, a MasterChef judge since season 1, becoming the first female judge in the series.
In the episode summary posted by TV Guide, this week's episode will have the remaining four contestants, Stephen Lee, Derrick Peltz, Nick Nappi, and Claudia Sandoval, battle it out on a two-on-two challenge.
According to the International Business Times, Stephen and Derrick will make up the blue team, while Nick and Claudia will be on the red team. In the past, Stephen and Derrick have always been tough rivals, but was able to overcome their differences. They both have won the show's annual tag-team challenge a few episodes back. And according to Fox's teaser video that was released a few days ago, it seems like the two were successful again this time.
The urban gardener and the drummer were seen up in the balcony looking over the losing home cooks, Nick and Claudia, in the promo video. The dishwasher salesman and the events manager, who are wearing black aprons, battle it out making in Christina Tosi's famous chocolate-malted layer cake to determine who will enter the top 3 and who will get eliminated.
The promo video also showed several outtakes that were deleted, as well as behind-the-scenes clips. Here, Gordon Ramsay was seen fumbling with his words, while Graham Elliot and Christina Tosi were seen dancing and having fun. Fan-favorite home cook Tommy Walton was even seen "locked up" in the MasterChef pantry.
MasterChef US season 6 airs on Fox every Wednesday night, and the season finale will broadcast this Sept. 16.
