Harvey was forced to conceal his laughter as nervous fans fielded questions on camera without realizing they were speaking to Harvey himself.

Many fans claimed other Mets players as their favorite, while another fan criticized Harvey's nude appearance in ESPN's 2013 "Body Issue."

Another fan wearing a Harvey jersey failed to recognize Harvey until the very end of the segment, at which point he excitedly shook the pitcher's hand.

"If Matt Harvey was standing next to you what advice would you give him," Harvey asked an additional fan.

"To keep being awesome," said the fan, to which Harvey said, "I will."

This year, Harvey came close to pitching a no-hitter and has become a rising star for the Mets. The athlete has been compared to Washington's Stephen Strasburg and was named the National League's starting pitcher for the All-Star Game.

Meanwhile, Fallon has another exciting event headed to his late night show this Friday. John Stamos, who portrayed Jesse Katsopolis on the beloved sitcom "Full House," is reuniting with his onscreen band on "Jimmy Fallon."

The 49-year-old actor wrapped up his role as Uncle Jesse when the show ended in 1995, but made a special announcement on Monday.

"Never thought I'd be singing THIS song," Stamos posted to Instagram along with a video of himself recording the theme song to "Full House."

"Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" airs on NBC at 12:35 p.m. EST.

It is rumored that Fallon may be replacing Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show" in the coveted 11:35 p.m. time slot following the veteran TV host's retirement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Leno has met stiff competition this year, and NBC is worried that rival late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will steal young viewers from the network, according to The Atlantic Wire. Consequently, the network is reportedly contemplating replacing Leno with Fallon in order to stay competitive with Kimmel.
