Matthew Perry and the Good Wife to Air Sunday Evening
Matthew Perry will make his debut in CBS's drama "The Good Wife" in Sunday episode. Reports suggest that Perry will not join the core regular cast for the series, but will instead fulfill a role as a Chicago attorney investigating a police shooting, and will take part in numerous episodes.
Perry, best known for playing Chandler Bing in "Friends," will take up the role of Mike Kresteva, the chairman of a blue ribbon panel investigating a suspicious police shooting.
Perry has said, "It's my favorite show, I love this show."
He added, "My character's quite a bad guy, which is really fun to play. I've never played a guy this, sort of, mean before. Playing a sociopath is kind of easy because you just pretend you're telling the truth when you're lying."
Perry made his name playing Chandler for 10 series of Friends between 1994 and 2004. He went on to appear in a number of movies including "The Whole Nine Yards" in 2000 and "17 Again" with Zac Efron in 2009.
Perry's first episode on "The Good Wife" will air at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
