Meagan Good Defends Kanye West's Christianity

Meagan Good, the Christian actress, recently defended rapper Kanye West's Christianity.

Good, 32, posted a link to an article called "Kanye West 'I'm A Disciple of Christ,'" which left some questioning if the 36-year-old Yeezus rapper was more a part of the world than the body of Christ.

"Those who 'come out' like a West and others who proclaim being a Christian and bear no fruit are deceiving themselves," the article posted on Good's Twitter stated.

Good prefaced the link by writing, "The Truth ... Love it!"

However, after some started to question the rapper's Christianity, Good defended her fellow entertainer and insinuated that people may have misunderstood her intentions for posting the article calling out West.

"It's interesting to me how people R so negative about my last post.. He who is WITHOUT sin cast the first stone.. We r ALL work in progress," Good tweeted. "When someone is trying to figure it out -and heading in the right direction -why would our negativity and abuse -cut them off in their path?"

The actress went on to post a video of West appearing on his daughter's grandmother Kris Jenner's talk show, where he spoke about his decision to wear a "What Would Jesus Do" bracelet.

"Rob [Kardashian] gave me this, and it's just 'What Would Jesus Do?' and I love it," West said while on Jenner's show. "It's just such a cool bracelet and I'm a Christian and I wanted to let people know that that's what's on my mind. It's important to me that I grow and walk and raise my family with Christian values."

Good captioned the video link, "Kanye loves Jesus" and reprimanded those who spoke out against the rapper's expression of faith after he has compared himself to Jesus in songs like "I Am A God."

"We should be ashamed of ourselves- like we have the to right to choose if somebody deserves a chance or not.. That's horrible," Good tweeted. "God is the only one who can make that type of decision.. You see someone trying- you should build them up not tear them down."
