Meagan Good 'Focused on Being Married to God'

Meagan Good, “Video Girl” actress, is speaking up about being Christian, celibate and looking for a Christian man to marry.

Good, who broke up with longtime NFL playing boyfriend Thomas Jones last year, recently opened up to Sister 2 Sister magazine about her love life. The actress is the cover girl on the November issue of the magazine, where she speaks about her celibacy.

“I met someone special, but you know what? I'm so in love with God right now,” Good told S2S. “I'm focused on being married to God. I'm celibate.”

The television and film actress said she had a conversation with God about her next love interest and future husband, who must be a man of Christ.

"The next guy I meet is [going to be my] husband and I already talked to God about that,” Good said.

“I was like, 'Check this out Lord, I know what you want for me,' and He really wants a man that has completely sold out for Christ for me, who can help me improve and be better than I am,” she added.

Good told S2S that she’s in no rush to find the man that God has destined for her to be with.

"So I know exactly what He wants for me and I don't know if I have already found it,” she said. “It's quite possible that I may have, but I am so not in a rush for anything."

Fans of Good took to Twitter to express their support for her decision.

“This is why I like Meagan Good," one person tweeted.

"I feel truly inspired," another wrote on Twitter.

Although Good has posed for men’s magazines and took on sexual roles, she has maintained that she is a woman of God.

In an interview with Vibe magazine earlier this year, Good said she has been placed in a position to spread the love of Jesus.

“For me personally, I know I'm called to the street. That's where God wants me to minister,” Good said.

“Other people might look at me and say, ‘She's been in men's magazines.’ Yeah, but as a result I can talk to other girls who've done men's magazines and felt like God didn't love them. I can say to them, 'No sweetheart, Jesus loves you.'"
