Megan Fox is Pregnant: 'Transformers' Star Prefers Babies Over Robots?
The media has been flooded with reports that "Transformers" star Megan Fox is expecting her first child with husband Brian Austin Green.
Fox has appeared in two of the three of science fiction action films based on the popular Hasbro toys and resulting cartoons. Speculation over her pregnancy has media outlets questioning whether the actress will continue her acting career beyond having children.
"Transformers" has accumulated a strong fan following with, robot enthusiasts posting their reactions to Fox's pregnancy on Twitter.
"Megan Fox is pregnant," wrote Funny Facts, adding a joke about "Transformers" characters: "The only question now is whether the baby is an Autobot or a Decepticon."
"Nooo," wrote Karm who named a robot in "Transformers," posting: "Megan Fox is pregnant! I heard Bumble Bee is the father."
Although the couple's reps have not commented, an inside source confirmed the news in March.
"They just found out and are incredibly excited," said the source speaking to Star magazine. "Megan has become a great stepmom, and Brian knows she'll be wonderful with the baby."
Fox wed Green in June 2010 after an on-and-off again relationship that began in 2004. Green has a 10-year-old son Kassius from a previous relationship.
Just last month, the actress admitted that having a baby was not something she will specifically plan while promoting her new movie "Friends With Kids."
"I'd love to have kids," said Fox, who will turn 26 in May. "I mean, it's going to happen when it's going to happen, but it's not something that I've planned against or for."
The "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" star added, "I'm just leaving it out there for the universe."
Additionally, in a past interview with Cosmopolitan, Fox said she wanted "at least two, probably three kids."
Fox has explained that her relationship with Green is successful because they are such good friends.
"I feel like I'm with my best friend," she told MTV News. "I've been with him for so long, so it feels natural and comfortable."
