Melissa Gorga Admits Wrongdoing In Teresa Giudice Saga
Melissa Gorga, the 34-year-old singer from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is taking some responsibility for the rift that took place between she and her sister-in-law while the world watched on their popular Bravo reality television series.
Gorga has been feuding with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice since joining the show in its third season. The former revealed that the drama unfolding on national television was the product of issues that have taken place for over 10 years.
After a season filled with physical and verbal altercations with their husbands getting involved in their feud, Gorga is admitting that she had a part to play in all of the drama after putting the blame on Giudice in front of television cameras.
"Truth be told! The M & T saga is too much," she tweeted. "We were both wrong at times & we are moving on with forgiveness. We are family. Xo"
Gorga let it be known that fans may finally witness Gorga and Giudice make amends.
When one fan questioned if the pair were still feuding, she tweeted, "No. we are great right now:-)"
Earlier this year, Gorga revealed where the issues stemmed from.
"The cork on ten-years' worth of anger popped," Gorga wrote in her Bravo TV blog. "We said and did things that, under any other circumstances, wouldn't have happened."
Before her recent admittance of wrongdoing, Gorga said she was not proud of her behavior on television.
"When you're in that pit of raw, extreme emotion, you lash out," Gorga wrote on the blog. "I'm not proud of some of the things I said. I certainly don't enjoy watching us at our worst."
Giudice and her husband Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice are facing 39 counts of conspiracy to defraud lenders. The Giudices are being charged for making attempts to illegally obtain mortgages while withholding information about their income from their reality television show.
Now that Gorga has reconciled with the Giudices, Melissa let it be known that they would support their family during the tough times.
"We're always here for Teresa," Mrs. Gorga told Us Weekly while attending the MTV 2013 Video Music Awards. "She's very strong and has a lot of strength and at the end of the day, it's about those four babies and we're here for them no matter what. She knows that we're here for her."
