Miami Heat's Chris Bosh and Wife Expecting Child

NBA star Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne are expecting their first child, a baby boy.

The newlyweds, married in July, are "over the moon," according to the New York Post.

Their wedding ceremony had fellow NBA celebrity attendances by LeBron James and Dwayne Wade, actress Gabrielle Union, and tennis star Serena Williams.

Pat Riley and coach Erik Spoelstra also attended.

Mrs. Bosh was spotted shopping for baby clothes alongside Larsa Pippen, former star on "The Real Housewives of Miami" and wife of NBA star Scottie Pippen.

Bosh previously played for the Toronto Raptors as well as Georgia Tech while in college. Bosh was formerly linked to Allison Mathis with whom he shares two-year-old daughter.

Despite the ongoing NBA lockout, Bosh posted on his Twitter account that he is still training hard for an upcoming season.

Retweeting a post by fellow player LeBron James, Bosh's Twitter account said: "Great workout with @DwayneWade @chrisbosh @fwalker03 @mavcarter. Always respected boxing. Tough workout!"

In addition, Bosh posted, "November is here and there's not basketball. #notcool," about the persistent lockout.

"Hopefully we can keep the momentum going and get back to playing basketball very soon," the 27-year-old father-to-be also wrote on his Twitter account. "I am and always have been optimistic."

In a similar optimistic gesture, recently single NBA player Kris Humphries has commented on the lockout.

"I continue to train everyday," said the 26-year-old player.

"I've been in the NBA for seven years and have built some great friendships. We are all working really hard and getting read... I'm ready for when it happens," Humphries added of the lockout ending.

Humphries is currently awaiting a divorce from his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. The couple were married in August and filed for a divorce after just 72 days.
