Michael Jackson's Daughter Receives Offer From Lingerie Football League
Yesterday news sources reported that Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris, had aspirations to play football, and now a day later an offer is coming from an unlikely source.
According to TMZ, the 13-year-old received a letter from the Lingerie Football League asking if she'd like to become the face of the organization, which claims it is breaking down barriers for women.
The organization would like Paris to become the spokesperson for the "youth program."
Mitchell S. Mortaza, LFL Commissioner, agreed with Paris and said there was a "lack of options for competitive female football"
He stated that the league wanted to introduce “youth clinics across the country to introduce the game of football to young ladies at an earlier stage in life."
Mortaza added, "We ... would like to invite Paris to become the spokesperson for the LFL's youth program and perhaps start training for a future football career in the LFL when she reaches the age of 18."
Although a collaboration of Paris and the Lingerie Football League is unlikely, one thing for sure is she wants to play football.
The King of Pop's daughter wants to help prove that girls can play on the gridiron too.
Even though she's only playing flag football, Jackson will be the first girl in her L.A. private school's history to be on the team.
The Jackson family has been connected to football in the past with both Michael and Janet Jackson performing at the Superbowl.
Michael performed in a legendary halftime show in 1993 for Superbowl XXVII in Pasadena, Calif. in a match with the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills.
The performance was notable because Michael was the only performer during the show and made his mark by being catapulted on to the stage.
It also became the first show where the audience numbers increased during the halftime show.
Janet performed at the infamous Superbowl XXXVIII in 2004 with Justin Timberlake when she had a wardrobe malfunction exposing herself in front of millions on television sparking controversy among many offended people and the FFC.
