Michael Phelps Olympics 2012 Schedule: Where to Watch Online Live Stream of Friday's 100M Butterfly

Michael Phelps will be in action again on Friday as the record breaking Olympian looks to extend his record and score his 21st Olympic medal. Phelps will be participating in the 100 Meter Butterfly Final at 2.38 p.m. ET (7.38 p.m. London time). His race can be watched live online through live streaming on NBC Olympics (details below).

Michael Phelps has become the golden boy of Team USA; he recently became the most decorated Olympian in the history of the Olympic Games on Tuesday after winning his 18th and 19th Olympic medals. He further added another gold to this on Thursday, which became his 20th Olympic medal, which is unprecedented.

It may be many years until anyone comes near Phelps' record, and he will be looking to make that feat even more difficult by increasing his Olympic medal tally with events on both Friday and Saturday.

Following Friday's 100 Meter Butterfly Final, Phelps will also be taking part in the 4x100 Meter Medley Relay on Saturday, which will be the final time he will be seen competing at the Olympic Games.

What Phelps has achieved at the Olympics over the last eight years has been nothing short of astonishing. He stormed onto the international scene in 2004 winning the praise of the world swimming community as he collected a hoard of medals. But it was in 2008 in Beijing that he peaked, and was immediately touted as the greatest swimmer of all time. Many wondered whether he would be able to push on at London 2012, but he has again collected a flurry of medals, proving to everyone that he is still at the top of the sport. He is now being touted as arguably the greatest Olympian ever.

Whatever people's opinions on that are, just the fact that he is being debated alongside the best and most celebrated athletes in Olympic history is the greatest compliment to Phelps. He is the man who has said he wanted to achieve something that no one has ever done before, and by becoming the most decorated Olympian in history he has certainly done that.

Phelps' next race will be at 2.38 p.m. ET on Friday in the 100 Meter Butterfly, which can be watched online through live streaming on NBC Olympics by clicking HERE.
