Michelle Duggar Would Welcome Another Baby 'If God Saw Fit'
Michelle Duggar and husband Jim Bob are incredibly busy with several children still at home, a wedding to plan, and three grandchildren, but there's still room for more. In a recent episode of "19 Kids & Counting," Michelle said that she and Jim Bob would still welcome another child if it is in God's plans for them.
"I realize that I don't have those tiny little babies in my home anymore," Michelle said. "We would welcome another baby if God saw fit to give us another one."
Daughter Josie was born in 2009 via emergency C-section and had serious health issues when she was born. The family gathered around and surrounded Josie, praying for her health to be restored and she eventually pulled through. Even though she was especially fragile, Josie has since proven to be a fighter and now runs around with her brothers and sisters.
Oldest son Josh is married to Anna and they have three children, the youngest of which is 11 months old. Even though Josh and Anna moved to Washington, D.C., they still make time to get together with their family and know that they have plenty of babysitters in their sisters and brothers.
"I think when we have moments like this it really makes me appreciate the time I get with my grandchildren," Michelle said.
Michelle and Jim Bob especially love being grandparents and are excited about the prospect of many more grandchildren after the wedding of daughter Jill. The Duggar family takes reproduction seriously and take vows to welcome any children that God sees fit when they exchange nuptials. Jessa and boyfriend Ben Seewald have said that they are already planning for a big family.
"Things are going great," Jessa told People magazine. "We are looking forward to what the future holds. We both want to have a big family. We are talking about our goals and the future with family. We have both talked about adoption and want to adopt, too."
