Michelle Williams Apprehensive About Prospective Reality Show

Michelle Williams, the 33-year-old singer formerly of Destiny's Child, is nervous about venturing into the world of reality television.

Williams is filming a show with her family called "My Sister's Keeper" and recently opened up about some apprehension that she has felt in moving forward with the project.

"I just want it to be right with me and my sisters. I don't want it to – of course we have to show conflict for ratings and drama but I don't want it to turn into a train-wreck," she told thejasminebrand.com recently. "Because at the end of the day, I still have a life and career to have after this and I just want it to be right. I know that it will but it's just about the right network at the right time."

Although Williams was one-third of a successful R&B group, she realized that many people did not get the opportunity to get to know her.

"The thing about the show was that I wanted to let people get to kind of know me a little bit because I know people don't know," she said. "Just to show myself, interact with my family."

The singer has been hard at work to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. However, she has been candid about struggling to release her upcoming solo gospel album "Journey To Freedom."

"I have to be honest with you. I had a moment this week," Williams said while appearing at One Church International in Los Angeles, Calif this past summer. "I said, 'God, you have to tell me if this is what you told me to do, 'cause I don't see it.'"

Still, she spoke about how working on the project has been therapeutic for her.

"People identify when your music comes from the heart and speaks truth," Williams previously told Michigan Avenue. "There was a time last year when I didn't know if I could record and finish one song, and it took me a while to really be comfortable and allow other people to help me with my thoughts. We had some incredible writers who were able to help me with my own situation, and it really helped deliver me out of some of those dark moments."
