Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G Specs: 5-Inch Device Offers 2 GB of RAM, 4G LTE
Indian electronics company Micromax Informatics recently launched their latest entrant in the 4G portfolio, which is dubbed the Canvas Xpress 4G. According to IBN Live, the company launched the new smartphone in India and will be exclusively available for purchase on e-commerce FlipKart.
The new handset is a perfect match for those who are looking for a 4G smartphone with an affordable price as the Canvas Xpress 4G will be sold with a price tag of only Rs 6,599. Micromax also collaborated with Airtel to provide an introductory 4G double data offer for up to six months. Interested buyers can expect the new model to offer superfast internet connectivity and faster downloads as its highlight feature is also the 4G LTE support, specifically the Cat. 4 LTE with download speeds of up to 150Mbps.
In terms of the hardware specifications, the Canvas Xpress 4G sports a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display. It also comes with a dual-SIM feature and runs with Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. NDTV Gadgets detailed that under its hood, a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor will be present. It will be coupled with 2GB of RAM and carry 8 GB of internal storage. It can be further expanded though via the microSD card up to 32 GB.
Taking photos and video is possible with the 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash. Selfie snaps can be made with the 2-megapixel front-facing fixed-focused camera. Aside from the 4G, other connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. Giving it battery juice is a 2000mAh battery pack.
TeleAnalysis reported that the Canvas Xpress 4G has been specifically designed for the Indian youth and their core lifestyle which is always on a lookout for constant high speed data connectivity.
