Mila Kunis Trapped in Elevator for 45 Minutes Waiting for Firefighters

Actress Mila Kunis had a unlucky bout with an elevator Sunday when she was trapped in the contraption for 45 minutes on the lower west side of New York City.

"They were stuck in the elevator for 45 minutes, and it became very hot in there, but Mila and everyone else remained calm. There were firetrucks outside, and firefighters helped them get out," an eyewitness told the New York Post of the 29-year-old actress's snafu.

Kunis was reportedly in an elevator with 10 other people on the corner of Bank Street and West 4 Street in New York City at 11:38 a.m. Sunday when the elevator she was riding got stuck between the fifth and sixth floors of an unnamed building.

The people stuck in the elevator called the firefighters, who arrived promptly on the scene and helped Kunis and the rest of those trapped to safety.

Kunis, who has previously starred in the movie "Black Swan," is currently filming the comedy "The Angriest Man."

The film, which is being shot in Brooklyn, stars Kunis, James Earl Jones, and Robin Williams. The plot involves a man who is accidentally told by his doctor that he has 90 minutes to live, and spends the supposed remainder of his life dashing through New York City to right all his wrongs.

Kunis is reportedly dating fellow actor Ashton Kutcher, with whom she starred in the sitcom "The 70's Show."

The couple, who continue to remain mum about their relationship, were recently photographed attending a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game with Kunis' parents.
