Miley Cyrus Birthday Bash, 'Madness and Craziness' Kelly Osbourne Says

Miley Cyrus turned 19 today. The young star came to fame nearly six years ago in 2006 when “Hannah Montana” aired on the Disney Channel; the relatively unknown star became the teen queen of a generation.

She went on headlining tours as Hannah Montana and later as Miley Cyrus. Through many endorsements, lines, albums, and sold-out tours, Cyrus is the highest paid teenager in Hollywood-worth approximately $120 million.

Her fame has not always been celebrated, however. Cyrus has faced many controversies growing up in the spotlight. Fans and parents complained about her sometimes-racy image on stage.

"People have very mixed opinions on me," Cyrus says. "I'm a great model, or I'm completely inappropriate for anyone under 13 and I'm very controversial. I don't know how I became this."

"I'm not some crazy lady who's gone off the deep end, because I definitely haven't," Cyrus explains. "Every 18-year-old explores sexuality and experiments and tries things. For me there's no reason to change that."

Cyrus explained in an interview with Asia’s Prestige magazine that she read in an article that she is considered a "good girl gone bad," and was very disappointed.

"I was like, 'What the hell, man?' I stay in the house pretty much every day. I don't go out," she tells Prestige. "I've had the same boyfriend [Liam Hemsworth] for two years."

Now, on the day of her 19th birthday celebration, Kelly Osbourne is determined to show Cyrus that her hard work pays off.

"It's intimate, but it's going to be the sickest thing she's ever seen in her life," Osbourne tells E! The two have grown close since co-starring on the upcoming film “So Undercover.”

"Although I see her on the same level mentally as me, I also realize that Miley's 19 and she deserves to still have fun," 27-year old Osbourne continued. "Because that girl has so much pressure on her and has worked her a** off her entire life that I think a lot of the time people forget that she deserves to have fun too. So that was my mission for her, to make her birthday...the best day ever.”
