Miley Cyrus Falls Victim to Joan Rivers' Roast Days After Rihanna

Miley Cyrus' new hairstyle seems to be Joan Rivers latest subject of criticism on Twitter, days after the 79-year-old comedian engaged in an online altercation with singer Rihanna.

Cyrus, 19-year-old actress and singer, recently chopped off her long ginger-hued mane which she replaced with a short platinum blonde pixie cut. While some criticized the young star's new hairdo, Rivers decided to poke fun at Cyrus in the view of over one million Twitter followers.

"Jennifer Aniston once popularized a hairstyle called 'The Rachel.' Miley Cyrus has done the same with her cut known as 'The Meds Wore Off,'" Rivers tweeted on Sunday.

Instead of responding directly, Cyrus responded by speaking about ignorance.

"Ignorance isn't bliss," Cyrus tweeted on Sunday. "It's IGNORANT."

However, Barbadian singer Rihanna was much more vocal when Rivers decided to include the chart-topping star in her comedy on Twitter.

"Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown," Rivers tweeted last Friday. "Idiot! Now it's MY turn to slap her."

The Barbadian singer fired back at Rivers on her own Twitter account.

"Wow u really do get slow when you're old huh," the singer tweeted before deleting her comment. "Slap on some diapers."

Not to be outdone, Rivers responded to the singer while requesting that she appear with the veteran comedian on her show "Fashion Police."

"Honey, @Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he'll hit you again," Rivers tweeted. "Read the statistics. PS – Love to have you on 'Fashion Police.'"

While some fans of Cyrus and Rihanna thought Rivers' brand of comedy was a bit harsh, others laughed at the expense of the popular celebrities.

"@Joan_Rivers I don't know who you are. But I clearly know that @MileyCyrus is so much better than you," one fan of Cyrus tweeted the comedian. "Keep your non-funny jokes to yourself."

However, another fan thought Rivers was funny.

"@Joan_Rivers always making me laugh hard enough to spit up my coffee in the morning," one person tweeted.

The veteran comedian is gearing up to headline a comedy show in North Carolina next month.
