Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Split: Singer's Partying Became a 'Problem'
Miley Cyrus has reportedly split with her fiance Liam Hemsworth following reports of an alleged affair with actress January Jones.
On March 6 Cyrus took to social networking site Twitter to refute reports that she had called off her wedding to the "Hunger Games" star, however a source claims the Hollywood couple has since parted ways. Hemsworth, 23, is currently in Australia alone and is yet to confirm or deny the cheating scandal.
"He needed to get away from Los Angeles and spend some time with his brother [Chris] and friends. Miley and Liam are done; it's over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him," a source told the New York Post.
"They have broken up before, and are broken up again now. There was drama because she suspected he had a wandering eye. And she recently tweeted a denial that he cheated," the source continued. "While Miley has insisted they are still together, right now they are very, very much apart."
The couple, who has been involved for four years, began facing serious problems at the end of February when at least two US tabloids claimed Hemsworth had been caught with Jones, 35. The pair was photographed in a vehicle together after attending a pre-Oscars party in L.A.
"They went to a private house party, and right in the middle of the party, January was clinging to Liam, saying, 'You're so handsome,'" a guest allegedly told Life and Style magazine.
"He kept saying, 'We can't do this here.' Then they left holding hands and went out in the hallway and were making out. She was wasted. It wasn't good," the source went on.
Cyrus, who accepted Hemsworth's proposal in May, stopped wearing her engagement ring shortly after reports of a cheating scandal surfaced. A source claims that the singer is actually concerned about the cheating claims.
"Miley is freaking out," an alleged friend said. "She's been telling her friends that she trusts him, but if she finds out the cheating claims are true, their engagement is over."
