Miley Cyrus Offers Advice to Justin Bieber on 'The Tonight Show'
Last night's episode of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" featured singer Miley Cyrus as a guest. When talking with Leno, the singer who has often been criticized for her behavior offered some words of advice to Justin Bieber. Bieber has recently come into some legal trouble, being charged with a DUI earlier this month.
"You've got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don't get in trouble, and party at your house. Buy a house, and add a club to it," Cyrus said.
Cyrus also defender her behavior by comparing it to Justin Bieber's.
"I get the most flak of anybody," she said. "I'm not doing anything illegal. I'm doing a lot of s---, but I'm not doing anything illegal. Everything I do is legal in California," Cyrus said to Leno.
In other "Tonight Show" news, Jay Leno will be leaving the show on Feb. 6. What's next for the comedian? Leno recently sat down for an interview with TV Guide Magazine, where he spoke about his future and discussed leaving. The host said he was glad to be leaving when he was, as it's better to go out on a high note than a low note.
"I'd rather leave when I was No. 1 than sneak out the door when you're No. 3. At some point it becomes diminishing returns. This is all I've done for 22 years. You have to go home and write 14 minutes [of a monologue] every single night, no matter what happens. If there's a death in your family, OK, then you have to go write 14 minutes of jokes right after that," he explained. "It will be nice to go back to being a comic again for a while."
"I don't know when the right time to leave is," Leno added. "Is it when you're 71? 68? 84? I've never gone out on a school night for the past 22 years. Look, if NBC did not have a guy like Jimmy in the bullpen waiting, I'd probably be here another year or two."
