Miley Cyrus Pens Open Letter To Liam Hemsworth; Wants Reconciliation?
Miley Cyrus recently penned an open letter to Liam Hemsworth following their September split, reports claim.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer, 20, was reportedly devastated after ending her year-long engagement to the Australian actor and a source claims she is still coming to terms with their failed relationship. Cyrus has been linked to various stars in recent months however reports claim she is open to the idea of a reconciliation with Hemsworth.
"As time has gone on and the anger subsided, Miley has really started to feel the pain of the split," a source told The Sun UK.
"She thought about writing some songs, but then decided why not write a letter to Liam to tell him exactly how she feels," the source explained.
The pair, who got engaged in 2012 after two-years of dating, had a difficult year stemming from reports of an affair involving actress January Jones, 35, in February. In August it was claimed that Cyrus' lewd MTV VMAs performance added strain to her relationship.
"Miley admitted to Liam she has pushed him away and said sorry for acting so mad," the source revealed.
"Miley says in her letter she still loves Liam deeply and has asked him to meet up," the source continued. "It could be for closure or it could be to start again, but she wants to see him and talk things through."
Hemsworth, who reportedly has no interest in a reconciliation with Cyrus, has been linked to Mexican singer-actress Eiza Gonzalez in recent weeks. Reports claim that while the "Hunger Games" actor genuinely loved the former Disney star, he was ultimately turned off by her racy new image.
"Liam really does care about Miley, but her racy new look and sort of ghetto attitude isn't exactly what he signed up for," a source told RadarOnline.com.
"Her VMA performance absolutely mortified him and he couldn't be more embarrassed. He doesn't really see anything sexy about what she did on stage," the source added.
