The previous episode began in the past with a flashback to the year 2048 and the last months of the PreCrime era. An officer was patrolling the streets and his badge read Vega. This officer was the dearly departed dad of Lara who was shot by a mysterious hooded assailant.

Back in the future, Agatha was showing Arthur the plans for a new containment unit that her inside man found. Arthur pointed out that the plans are more than 10 years old. But Agatha firmly believed that Vega would betray them eventually.

Vega was pushing everyone away because she shared a birthday with her late father. She refused to eat what her mother cooked and then she got mad at Dash for bringing flowers to the office. At the headquarters, Vega talked to the director while Dash had another vision of an old red jersey, shattering glass, a gun and a logo.

As it turned out, the jersey was an old RedClouds jersey from 2019 that Vega had. This made Dash realize that Vega was the victim in his vision. Vega was not bothered by that, but Dash was upset over it. Vega went to see someone that she had arrested before. Vega wanted to know if there was any video of her dad's death at the headquarters. Dash and Arthur helped Vega and they dug through their memories together.

Those memories led them to Dina Winter. Vega confronted Winter who had a son named Bradford and a red jersey. And in the end, Vega got her father's watch back that caused her mother to collapse in the chair. Vega's hunt has just begun.
