Miranda Kerr Dishes Beauty Secrets
Fresh off the runway at the 2012 Victoria's Secret fashion show, Miranda Kerr has revealed her beauty secrets.
The 29-year-old supermodel admitted that she goes to special lengths in order to stay healthy and looking her best.
"I believe in celebrating the female figure and embracing what we've been given, not hiding that," said Kerr speaking to Esquire U.K.
"I live by the philosophy that beauty starts from within and I make conscious effort to fill my body with nutrients through the food I eat," added the mother of 1-year-old Flynn.
It was her son that furthered Kerr's motivation to stay as healthy as possible.
"Becoming a mother has made me even more aware and more passionate about nutrition and wellness, so much so that I am now a certified health coach practitioner," added the Victoria's Secret Angel.
Kerr, who frequently shares posts on her Twitter account, reportedly works out daily with kickboxing, running, yoga, and resistance exercises.
"I make sure I do half an hour of yoga in the morning so that then I'm feeling good," said the Australian native, according to the Daily Mail.
Moreover, the model carefully selects what she eats and drinks.
"I love food and enjoy eating fresh organic produce," Kerr said while speaking to Harper's Bazaar. "I drink warm water and lemon every morning and I also drink lots of good quality purified and preferably alkaline water throughout the day."
Kerr married "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Orlando Bloom in 2010. The couple welcomed their son Flynn one year later.
In the past, the model has attributed her clear skin, shiny hair and trim figure to coconut oil. Kerr told Cosmopolitan magazine that she ingests four tablespoons of the oil a day either on salads, in her cooking or in her cups of green tea.
