Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom Together For Christmas With Son

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are keeping their word through an "amicable divorce" on Christmas Eve spent with son Flynn.

The couple was married for three years before announcing their split in October.

On Tuesday, Dec. 24, the family of three was photographed in New York City's Upper East Side.

Kerr, 30, donned an all-black outfit paired with large sunglasses while Bloom, 36, carried Flynn on his shoulders and another little boy in his arms, according to People.com.

Despite their divorce, Kerr and Bloom released a joint statement assuring the public that their parting ways would not affect their 2-year-old, Flynn.

"They love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family," the statement continued.

Furthermore, one month after announcing the split, Bloom told Katie Couric that he and his former spouse will remain friends.

"We love each other," the actor said. "We're family. We're going to be in each others' lives for the rest of our lives."

Bloom currently stars in the Broadway production of "Romeo and Juliet," but he is best known for his roles in "Pirates of the Caribbean" and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.

The star went on to cite life's unpredictability when it comes to his divorce from the Australian model.

"You know, life sometimes doesn't work out exactly like you planned it," Bloom told Couric. "But fortunately, we're both adults, and we're professionals, and we love and care about each other. And we, most of all, love our son."

Christmas Eve was not the first time the couple were spotted together post-split. Kerr and Bloom are often seen out and about with their son in NYC, including a dinner earlier this month. Flynn turns three in early January.

Following the divorce announcement, rumors arose of a romance between Kerr and Australian billionaire James Packer, according to the Australian magazine Women's Day.

Alternately, Bloom has been linked to his "Lord of the Rings" co-star Liv Tyler.
