Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton Silence Cheating Rumors on Red Carpet
Miranda Lambert and husband Blake Shelton have further put cheating rumors to rest after appearing on the red carpet together yesterday.
The married country music stars attended the premiere party for season four of "The Voice" in Hollywood on Wednesday, lovingly smiling at each other and at cameras.
"They posed together on the carpet for a few pictures with their arms around each other," one onlooker told Us Weekly. "Then Miranda went straight in as Blake began his interviews."
Just days earlier, Shelton and Lambert were forced to acknowledge headlines that purported Shelton had cheated on the "Kerosene" singer with aspiring musician Cady Groves.
Clearing the air, Shelton jokingly took to Twitter over the weekend.
"Hey @Mirandalambert… I just read in a tabloid that our marriage is falling apart!" posted "The Voice" mentor.
"Oh no! Can't wait to read if we make it or not," 29-year-old Lambert sarcastically replied.
"Ba! Ha! Ha! You see y'all!!! I'm making her funnier," Shelton added of his wife of almost two years.
Cheating rumors are not the first untrue headlines the couple has dealt with via Twitter. Last fall, Lambert denied rumors of a pregnancy on the social media site.
"Wow! I just read the headline," Lambert posted to her Twitter account. "'We are having a baby' yay! @BlakeShelton we're getting a new puppy?"
"Don't believe everything you read," the singer later added. "I'm having a 'randarita' right now in honor of the baby we are not yet having! #SorryFolksParksClosed"
Meanwhile, Shelton had also taken to Twitter acknowledging the rumors that he was to become a father.
The jovial singer replied with confusion to one follower who wished him congratulations, writing, "Cheers, it's Christmas."
"The Voice" coach also addressed one who had asked if Lambert was pregnant, posting, "I hope not… She's passed out with a bottle of Bacardi in her hands!"
"Look, I know I've gained some weight but the test was negative," he continued to joke.
The country music super couple married in 2011, but revealed that they are not planning on starting a family any time soon.
"I don't plan on having [children] for a while," said Lambert speaking to People magazine. "To my, my dogs are my children."
