Miss Universe 2015 News: Pia Wurtzbach Gushes Over Meeting Gordon Ramsay, Clears Issue About Dr. Mike
Pia Wurtzbach jokingly stressed that Gordon Ramsay did not curse nor shout at her during their encounter as he was apparently in a good mood.
As Miss Universe 2015 c is a culinary graduate, it is but understandable why the beauty from the Philippines couldn't help but gush upon recently brushing elbows with English chef-restaurateur Gordon Ramsay in New York.
According to GMA News, Wurtzbach said that meeting the globally renowned chef and restaurateur was an honor, saying she couldn't help but feel giddy when they finally came face to face.
"How KILIG I was when I met him! I told him all about my culinary background in Manila and England," the beauty queen said on her Instagram post.
Rappler notes that "kilig" is a Filipino word that has been recently included in the Oxford dictionary that functions both as a noun and an adjective. One of its definitions is "causing or expressing a rush of excitement or exhilaration; thrilling, enthralling, captivating."
As Gordon is known for his temper and rash criticisms to the participants in his reality show "Hell's Kitchen," Wurtzbach jokingly stressed that the chef did not curse nor shout at her during their encounter as he was apparently in a good mood.
Meanwhile, Wurtzbach finally cleared the air regarding her rumored falling out with Mikhail Varshavski, more popularly known as Dr. Mike, who is dubbed as the Hottest Doctor Alive. The rumor stemmed from the Instagram post of the beauty queen where she said that she is a prize, not a catch.
The said post was interpreted by many as a reference to the doctor. However, in her Twitter account, the beauty queen apologized in Filipino language for having caused confusion to her fans and followers, adding that she misunderstood a question and gave a wrong answer, as per Philstar.
In the same post, she tagged Dr. Mike while still using the Filipino language and asked him if things were already okay. To the surprise and delight of the followers of the pair, the doctor responded in Filipino, which literally translates to "everything is okay."
Wurtzbach then told her followers that the doctor is currently learning the Filipino language.
