'MLB The Show 17' New Uniforms and 'The Little Things' in Next Deep Dive Session; Upgrades Detailed
As the release of "MLB The Show 17" inches closer, Sony reveals more and more about the latest iteration of the upcoming Major League Baseball (MLB) video game.
On Thursday, Feb. 23, in another Deep Dive session, the developer will detail "the little things" in the game such as the new uniform sets and brands as well as the universal profile overhaul.
Not long after that, on March 2 to be exact, Sony will treat fans with an "MLB The Show 2017" presentation and a Deep Dive on commentary improvement.

It appears that Sony has prepared a surprise for fans in this particular presentation. There will be a booth where two personalities presumably from the world of baseball will be joining the event.
One of the things that fans hoped to be polished in the game is the commentary and it looks like Sony is looking to rectify that in "MLB The Show 2017."
Of course, there is more than just the commentary improvement. Fans can also expect a richer Diamond Dynasty experience in the new installment of the baseball simulation game.
According to Forbes, there will be more missions and special Diamond programs to explore in "MLB The Show 2017." There are even some in which the gamers will have to use players from one division.
Sony also focused on realism in the highly anticipated MLB game so fans can expect to see more realistic gameplay animations including the motion of the baseball.
The studio was hard at work to capture accurately the movement of the baseball when it comes off the bat. This could lead to several scenarios that could change the course of the game.
"MLB The Show 2017" will also feature new facial renders. The designs for Max Scherzer, Anthony Rizzo, Clayton Kershaw, Masahiro Tanaka, Felix Hernandez, Robinson Cano, Dee Gordon and Paul Goldschmidt were recently shown off.
As for the player creation tool, gamers will be happy to know that Sony has made it better with more options for African-American hairstyles.
"MLB The Show 2017" will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on March 28.
