MLB World Series 2017 Live Stream: How to Watch Online on Android, Chrome, and Other Devices

The Major League Baseball Postseason is in full swing as the World Series kicked off last Tuesday, Oct. 24. This year, fans who don't have cable or satellite TV have more options than ever, as several streaming services now carry 2017's largest baseball event.

Earlier this month, MLB and YouTube announced a partnership that will bring the 2017 World Series to the cable-free live TV streaming service. Since Oct. 3, YouTube TV has now been the presenting sponsor of all the league's major events this fall.

A subscription to YouTube TV runs for $35 per month, with the package also bundling in the Fox network live TV stream, according to 9 to 5 Google. The problem, though, is that the service is still not yet available to some parts of the U.S.

Fortunately, several other streaming TV services also carries the World Series this year, including Sling TV, Hulu, and PlayStation Vue. The latter two can be pricey, though, with both the PlayStation Vue and Hulu Live costing about $40 a month. Sling TV is still the cheaper choice for catching just the MLB postseason, at just $25 a month.

Direct TV Now also has a monthly package that has Fox and the MLB World Series for $35 a month. Not all areas have access to local TV, though, so it's better to check their channel coverage first.

For those that do have access to cable, they can still watch the games from their PC or mobile device using the Fox Sports Go app. Signing in to the app lets baseball fans catch the World Series on a variety of mobile devices, including iPhones and iOS gadgets, Android devices including Android TV, Amazon's Kindle Fire and Fire TV, and Apple TV.

The Fox Sports Go app also supports Google Chromecast, Roku and Xbox, and of course, PC browsers as well.
