'Modern Family' Season 6 News, Spoilers: Details on Halloween Episode Revealed, Kristen Johnston to Guest Star
More spoilers are out for the upcoming season of "Modern Family" and it looks like the Dunphys and the Pritchetts are up to their usual shenanigans for season 6.
The season 5 finale featured Cam and Mitch's wedding, and the new season will see them return from their honeymoon and adjusting to normal life once again. Haley seems to be developing some feelings for Andy, and it looks like the two could have a relationship, though Andy is not the type of guy that Haley is normally attracted to.
Meanwhile, Kristen Johnston will be guest starring as Mitchell's law firm colleague. According to TVLine, Mitchell will invite Johnston's character "to spend the night, because she is going through a tough time … but he has no idea the extent to which she is unraveling emotionally."
In other news, more details about the "Modern Family" Halloween episode has been revealed, as the Daily Mail was able to take some photos during filming for the episode.
In the pictures, the Dunphy house has been transformed into a "Haunted Insane Asylum." A sign that says so is seen in front of the house.
Actress Sarah Hyland, who plays eldest child Haley, was photographed wearing a hospital gown, which she tweaked to be a little more form-fitting and revealing than what it normally looks like. Her look was finished off with dramatic makeup which emphasized her cheekbones and her eyes.
Ariel Winter (Alex) and Nolan Gould (Luke) were also spotted wearing bloodied hospital gowns, and each one had a bloody bandage around the head.
Dunphy patriarch Phil, played by Ty Burrell, was clad in a colorful, hippy getup of rainbow-hued pants and a smiley shirt, while Julie Bowen's Claire Dunphy wore a bloodied nurse's outfit.
Fans of the show knows that Claire always makes it a point to go big every Halloween, and it seems like season 6 is no exception as she somehow manages to get all of the family to dress up for it.
"Modern Family" season 6 will premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
