Moto X Phone Shown Off in New Video Featuring Company Exec
The Moto X Phone made an appearance in a video this week, which features a high-up employee at the company playing with the device.
The video was filmed at a special event yesterday, which only allowed a select group of journalists to attend. It was hosted by Motorola adviser Guy Kawasaki, and one of the guests created this short video that features singer Daria Musk giving a performance for the gathering.
The video was filmed by Robert Scoble who used Google Glass to record it. During the event, Motorola's Senior Vice President for Product Management at Motorola is seen playing with the new Moto X Phone. The video is not that clear, but the device seen seems to match up to many of the recently leaked photos.

The smartphone features the same curved design that was seen in a leaked shot of a fully assembled model. The camera and flash could be seen on the back of the handset with the Motorola logo right below. The device in the video also matches up to the Moto X in terms of size and finish.
Motorola denied the fact that this event had anything to do with the next-gen flagship device. However, the footage points to this not being the case.
The Motorola X Phone could be launched with a $500 million marketing campaign.
Dennis Woodside, the CEO of Motorola, recently stated that the company will get to spend "several hundred million dollars- and possibly upward of $500 million" to market the upcoming flagship smartphone.
The money will be used to promote the device in the U.S. and European market, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal. Motorola's decision to put this much capital behind the product has influenced many of the major U.S. carriers to offer the smartphone. Some of these companies have already convinced Motorola not to fill the device up with unnecessary bloatware.
