It tells the story of a woman, played by Doris Roberts, who always makes sure to make Christmas the most magical and meaningful day of the year. When she is hired as a seasonal employee in the toy department, things begin to change for everyone around her. It is the renewal of faith in the Christmas spirit that touches us all.
A Christmas Snow
For the past 30 years, Kathleen has been carrying the pain of her father abandoning her and her mother on Christmas Eve and for that reason she refuses to celebrate Christmas in any fashion. One Christmas, two complete strangers are stuck in her home because of an unforgiving blizzard. Through the storm she is able to forgive and let go of the bitterness she had been carrying for years.
In Search for Santa Paws
Although this movie might not appeal to the older audience it is definitely one that will be enjoyed by children in the family. "Santa Paws" tells the story of magic talking puppies who team up with an elf and two children to rescue the true meaning of Christmas. On their way to New York City they realize that they not only have to remind children about the true meaning of Christmas but they also have to save Santa Claus when he gets lost after losing his memory. "Santa Paws" will surely be a delight for children under ten years old.
What If...
When Be Walker (Kevin Sorbo) wakes up one day, he realizes that the life he wakes up to is not his own. In his alternate life he is given a second choice by God to reconsider that his pursuit for business and money is not the true life he was meant to live. With his new family he realizes the value of family and faith in Jesus Christ. "What If.." is a story that is sure to ask us if we are truly following God's purpose in our lives.
What's In The Bible?
Although this is not a movie, it is a wonderful puppet/cartoon series aimed to teach children (and adults) the stories in the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. Through the stories, Phil Vischer, creator of VeggieTales, hopes to not only educate Christian children but also answer the many questions that are left unanswered for teens, such as why we can trust the Bible and what difference does it make. The many zany characters, with their child-like innocence, curiosity, and whimsical jokes, are able to explain the history of God and His purpose for humanity.
