Multi-Racial Animated Jesus App Available Now
A White, Black, Asian, or Celtic Jesus?
Personal Jesus, the first iPhone app to feature a speaking, animated multi-racial Jesus, is now available in the App Store.
“Jesus is universal, and his message should be able to reach anyone who wants to meditate, find strength or simply share the wisdom that has guided us for the past two thousand years,” creator Melián Paino said in a statement. “And since he speaks to everyone, all people should be able to identify with him.”

The 42-year-old Argentinean entrepreneur based in Ibiza, Spain, created the unique app to spread the Word of Jesus and also encourage people as well.
“This new app will take you back to the values and wisdom that founded our world by giving you a speaking animated Jesus who deliver more than 200 quotes directly into your iPhone or iPad,” a press release shared.
“And because you will it too precious to keep, you can share it with your friends through social networks. You can [also] have it on alarm setting as a reminder to start your day with a beautiful thought or you can [set] it for random mode to surprise yourself with different quotes.”
The main innovation of the Jesus app claims to be its global approach that welcomes all people by offering the Gospel of Christ in four different races.
In addition to the multi-racial aspect, Jesus could also be seen in five different environments, which included heaven, crucifixion, walking on water, the last supper, and the resurrection.
Each quote shared by the Personal Jesus comes with a biblical reference number as well.
“Follow me. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32,” was an example of one quote, as well as, “Whatever you ask in my name, that will I do. John 14:13.”
The app is currently rated 4+ on iTunes and features languages in English and German.
The first release of the series includes a set of two apps: Personal Jesus and Personal Jesus Black Edition. The latter costs $0.99 to download while the former is free.
The Asian and Celtic Editions will be coming soon to the app store as well.
