'My First Girlfriend Is a Gal' Episode 10 Spoilers: Will Junichi and Yukana Reconcile in Upcoming Finale?

The 10-episode run of the Japanese anime series "My First Girlfriend Is a Gal" is about to end. Will Junichi Hashiba and Yukana Yame be able to reconcile and start anew?

The mysterious guy that appeared at the end of last week's episode turned out to be Yukana's middle school friend, Dai Mitarai. And due to a combination of jealousy and his personal insecurities, Junichi ended up pushing Yukana away, much to the disappointment of their friends.

Ranko, for one, came charging at Junichi at a diner, ready to punch the guy to kingdom come for making Yukana cry. However, Junichi had, by then, realized his mistake and was about to go to Yukana and apologize when Mitarai and his friends walk into the diner talking about his girlfriend.

And while Junichi did initially share Mitarai's impressions of Yukana to a degree, having been together with Yukana for quite some time has helped him see the real person behind the gal image. Mitarai and his friends' disparaging comments about his girlfriend were enough to make him see red, and the episode ended with him walking towards Mitarai to give the guy a piece of his mind.

Will Junichi be able to handle the potential fight that's about to ensue? Will he be able to defend his girlfriend's honor before he gets taken down, or will the determination, more than the anger, to stand up for his girl be enough to keep him on his feet?

More importantly, will the upcoming episode finally see him reconciling with Yukana and finally understanding what it truly means to be in a loving relationship?

The series may be ending, but an original video animation (OVA) has also been announced earlier this year, so Junichi and Yukana's adventures in love may be far from over.

"My First Girlfriend Is a Gal" airs on Wednesdays at 11 p.m. JST on AT-X and late night at 1:35 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX. Information on other schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
