Just three days after the tragic jet crash that took the lives of renowned pastor and motivational speaker Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife Ruth, the beloved pastor's family revealed the identities of the seven others who perished on the fated flight plus the unborn child of their youth pastor and his wife.

Surrounded by his sister, and extended family, Munroe's son, Myles Munroe Jr., revealed the family's pain and acknowledged the dead during a press conference at the Grand Lucayan Hotel in Bahamas, Wednesday, according to a video posted on Vimeo.

"I would like to take this time to address all of you here and everyone around the world that has shown their support and expressed their condolences during this difficult time," he said of the decision to speak publicly.

He then acknowledged everyone who died in the crash with his mother, father and uncle.

"We want you all to know that in spite of the recent tragedy that claimed the lives of my parents Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe, my uncle Dr. Richard Pinder, our chief pilot Captain Stanley Thurston, our first officer Frahkan Cooper, our youth pastors Lavard and Radel Parks, their son Johanan Parks and their unborn child and our dear friend Diego Santiago, we all have comfort in knowing that God is in control," he said.

"I know there are many questions as to how or why something like this would be allowed to happen to such great individuals, but yet still God is in control," he continued.

"The past few days have been the most difficult times for my sister and I, my family and all of those affected by this loss," he added.

The younger Munroe was also quite defiant in reminding the Christian audience that death in the faith, is not final.

"I would like to make it known that although we are all grieving our losses and are deeply saddened by this tragic event, we have never been nor will we ever feel hopeless. There is no question in our hearts that the spirits of the nine persons whose lives were taken are now resting with our Heavenly Father," he said.

"We rejoice for we know that they are in a better place watching over all of us and rejoicing among the heavenly angels. We will not allow death to claim any victory, but we will celebrate the life and legacy of each individual," he noted.

Myles Munroe Sr., 60, and his wife, Ruth, were killed in a fiery jet crash near the Grand Bahama International Airport Sunday. The prominent Evangelical pastor was the leader of the Bahama Faith Ministries, and was scheduled to join an influential group of religious leaders, executives, politicians and business leaders at the Global Leadership Forum in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Monday. The forum is scheduled to close on Thursday.
