Mystery in Baltic Sea: Massive Unidentified Objects Found on Sea Floor

Divers have discovered an unexplained object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea near Sweden.

Peter Lindberg, the leader of the amateur treasure hunters, said, "This thing turned up. My first reaction was to tell the guys that we have a UFO here on the bottom."

The mysterious object was also spotted by sonar readings, which indicated that it is about 60m across; which is about the size of a jumbo jet.

Another smaller object, with a similar shape, has also been found nearby also on the sea floor.

Both objects have "drag marks" behind them, showing that they have been dragged more than 400 feet across the sea bed.

Some commentators have suggested it could be a ship, but others have dismissed those claims due to its shape and size.

"Right now, we know about 20,000 objects, mostly shipwrecks, in the Baltic Sea. But I think there may be more than 100,000," said sonar expert Ardreas Olsson, "I'm not sure what you will see when you go down. But I'm excited. It's going to be interesting to see what it is."

The diving team is currently waiting for calmer weather before they venture back down to investigate further. A May diving date is currently being touted.
