Mystery Man on Roof: Boston Bombing Pictures Show Unknown Figure (PHOTO, VIDEO)

A mystery man spotted was spotted walking on a roof top near the location of where the bombs detonated close to the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday which has sparked all sorts of comments and controversy on the internet.

Several photos taken by spectators at the event, which were then uploaded to the internet, shows the explosion of the second bomb about a hundred yards away from where the first explosion went off as well a mysterious figure on the roof of an building in front of the explosion

Soon after the pictures began to circulate on the internet users on various social media platforms noticed the figure in the picture and began to comment about who the mysterious figure might actually be.

"Who's that guy on the roof?? #BostonMarathon #PrayforBoston," one Twitter user wrote on a parody account for musician Frank Ocean.

"I wonder if the FBI could look at cameras from that building to find the guy on the roof in the top left ... #Boston," another user tweeted.

"If that guy is the murderer or not on the roof that is still a pretty sick photo. As in creepy," wrote another.

Two large explosions hit the 2013 Boston Marathon on Monday afternoon, with reports now confirming at least three are dead and more than 150 injured.

The devastating scenes have shown injured people being carried away from the scene of the explosions, which took place near the finish line of the Boston Marathon route.

Witnesses and media sources are reporting that two loud bangs were heard near the finish line, and video footage can be seen at the moment of the explosions with a big fireball seen coming from one of the buildings to the side of the road.

Authorities have not said if they have any suspects in custody but are following every lead they have.
