'Nashvile' Season 4 News, Cast, Spoilers: Rayna Will Turn Down Maddie's Contract

The upcoming episode of "Nashville" is going to be difficult for parents, most specifically Rayna (Connie Britton). She will be making difficult decisions in the episode that could permanently damage her relationship with her daughter Maddie (Lennon Stella).

According to the spoilers released by International Business Times, Rayna may have difficulty on juggling her personal life and work life, especially when her daughter Maddie is making things much more difficult. Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) will still be away in rehab dealing with her postpartum depression, while Rayna will be busy trying to make sure things don't get out of hand in her life. It is said that Luke (Will Chase), Rayna's ex, will also be attempting to do the same.

In the upcoming episode 8 entitled "Unguarded Moments," it is reported that there will be a strain in the mother-daughter relationship of Rayna and Maddie. Maddie seems to be trying everything she can do to catapult her career into stardom, even if it means going against her mother's wishes. Rayna has already expressed her disapproval for Maddie's desires since she feels that it isn't simply the time for Maddie to be under the spotlight. Yet, a few weeks ago, viewers witnessed Maddie take the center stage with Juliette, and her performance had undeniably caught the attention of music labels and Sony is one of them.

In the synopsis, apparently Rayna plans, or at least wants to, decline Sony's offer; however, she know this would be the final straw for Maddie. Rayna's work life won't be any less demanding as well as Markus (Riley Smith) will no appreciate her distracted stand.

Meanwhile, Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) will continue with their tour. Many fans are rooting for the two; however, it doesn't seem it will fall into place for them that quick, as Gunnar's new girlfriend, Erin, might make it a little more complicated. However, Scout Taylor-Compton, whos plays Erin, says that her character isn't exactly there to bring drama, "I feel like it's because Erin isn't there to do any harm — she's there to have fun and shake Gunnar up a little and show him how to have a good time."

"Nashville" season 4 airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
