'Nashville' Season 6 News, Air Date: CMT Drops First Clip of Juliette Losing It

CMT has released a first look at the upcoming sixth season of "Nashville," and it does not seem like things are going well for Juliette (Hayden Panettiere).

The short clip does not offer much in terms of storyline, but it does give fans a preview of Juliette seemingly about to break down. It opens with Juliette in front of a crowd as she is about to perform. The clip then reveals that there will be more hits this season. It goes on to show different characters doing different things, including Maddie (Lennon Stella), who is on stage herself.

However, the most intriguing part of the clip is perhaps the end. Juliette stands in front of her audience and starts telling them off. Something must have happened to trigger this attitude in her, though it remains to be seen exactly what that is.

"I don't want your money. I don't want your attention. And I sure as hell don't want your love," Juliette barks at the crowd before walking out.

While her behavior definitely warrants concern, some fans are just happy that Juliette is back to her diva self. It is unknown, though, how this will all affect her relationship with Avery (Jonathan Jackson). It is also unclear what will cause Juliette to have her break down, especially since the previous season's finale saw her redeem herself.

It can be recalled that season 5 closed with Highway 65 being saved, thanks to Juliette. She also admitted to the public that she stole Maddie's song. But Highway 65 may not be totally in the clear just yet. Executive producer Marshall Herskovitz previously teased that the label is out of the woods "for the moment," but there will surely be more drama coming ahead.

Fans of Deacon (Charles Esten) and Jessie (Kaitlin Doubleday) will also be happy to know that the latter will return for season 6. There is definitely something between the two characters, but Deacon will not be totally ready to give love another shot after what happened with Rayna (Connie Britton).

"Nashville" season 6 will premiere in January 2018 on CMT.
