'Nashville' Season 6 Spoilers: Is Juliette Leaving Her Career For Good?

Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) seemed to have reached her boiling point when "Nashville" returns to CMT for its sixth and final season.

Based on the sneak peek that was posted on TVLine, the troubled country music superstar appeared on stage for her highly anticipated comeback concert after admitting in public that she stole Maddie Conrad's (Lennon Stella) single. But it seemed like Deacon Claybourne (Charles Esten) was the only one who is willing to forgive her since the audience continues to label her as a "thief."

This probably led Juliette to stop her concert and tell everyone what she really feels. "I want people to love me, but that's just a trap," Juliette said in front of the audience. "Because they don't know me. I don't even want them to know me, because if they knew me, they wouldn't love me. That's the story of my whole life right there."

While Deacon, Glenn Goodman (Ed Amatrudo), Avery Barkley (Jonathan Jackson), and the rest of the crowd listen to her speech in horror, Juliette dropped her dramatic announcement, saying: "I think I just need to stop."

Based on the official trailer for the upcoming season, Juliette will meet a man named Darius (Josh Stamberg) who is known for being the founder of a self-actualization movement. She will encourage her to join their organization, but Avery seemed to be wary about her decision to join the group. "You're putting all of your trust in this guy. You're living your whole life by his words," he told her in the promo video.

Aside from Darius, the sixth and final season of "Nashville" will introduce a military veteran named Sean (Jake Etheridge) who is about to face a new career as a musician, the backup singer named Alannah (Rainee Lyleson), and popular pop star Jonah Ford (Nic Luken).

CMT will air the premiere episode of "Nashville" season 6 on Thursday, Jan. 4, at 9 p.m. EDT.
