Lead single, "Hurricane," hit no. 1 on iTunes in just a few hours back in May and soared onto the Billboard and MediaBase charts, making it the fastest rising single of her career.

"I've journeyed through a lot over the past three years," said Grant in a press release. "This record is full of my stories and is a reminder that no matter how dark the struggle may seem, I am not alone. And through writing these songs, I've been reminded that hope always wins."

Hurricane is made up of songs that explain and go through the emotions of real storms in Grant's life. It will give the listener a greater sense of "hope, peace, and encouragement," a press release said.

On the record Grant talks about for the first time her struggle with post-partum depression after the birth of her third child, having doubts as a parent and balancing a career while being a mother.

"This record is full of music that is positive and bright, both musically and lyrically, which is almost the antitheses to how I have felt for the last few years, but it is the result of hope and faith," Grant continued. "Even when everything seems dark, my faith keeps the light on. I feel these songs help me to tell that truth in a fresh way."

She is also made her Grand Ole Opry debut at Women Rock For The Cure to help combat breast cancer yesterday.

This was the fifth annual "Opry Goes Pink" show and featured Grant alongside LeAnn Rimes, Mandisa, and Pam Tillis as they perform as well.
