'NBA 2K16' Roster Update Latest News: Stephen Curry Rating Increased By One Point
Basketball simulation video game "NBA 2K16" just received an update again after what seemed like weeks since the last one. According to reports, the game updated their roster and the most notable change is of Stephen Curry's rating which got bumped up one point.
The Golden State Warriors' player is currently a 96 Overall in the game. This increase has led him to be included in the Diamond level in MyTEAM for his Dynamic Rating Card. And though a one-point increase may not seem so much, the increase in his points has placed the three-point hotshot in a tie with Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Shaquille O'Neal and the 1988-1989 version of Michael Jordan. A handful of players are rated higher than him and those are Magic Johnson, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michael Jordan.
In other news, Gospel Herald reported that on Wednesday, developer Visual Concepts introduced the alternate floor for the Milwaukee Bucks. Gamers can access the newly added floor by simply using the Bucks alternate uniform during a home game.
There were also some in-game enhancements made. New "NBA 2K16" locker codes with Virtual Currency (VC) were made available by 2K Sports, along with new gears. Some players were also unlocked. To get dream basketball gears, players will only need to type in "SHOOT2MUCH500" and they will be able to obtain 500 VC. New items also await the game's players. By entering the right code, they can get bonus unlocked items and even a blue, red and white ABA Ball.
Another report also said that 2K Sports has confirmed that they had worked with Nike and Kyrie Irving to make the digital version of the Cleveland Cavaliers star next signature sneaker, Kyrie 2, available.
"NBA 2K16" is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Android, Xbox One, iOS, Xbox 360, and Windows.
