'NBA 2K17' Trade Deadline Roster Update Now Available, 'Boogie' and 'The Brow' Now Teammates on the New Orleans Pelicans
Traded draft picks also accounted for in recently released 'NBA 2K17' roster update
The past week in the NBA was a big one as it featured several notable names changing teams, and the effects of those significant roster moves are evident even inside "NBA 2K17."
Developers recently rolled out the trade deadline roster update for the game, Operation Sports reported.
The biggest move, of course, was the one made a few days before the trading deadline which sent All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins, also known to many fans as "Boogie" from the Sacramento Kings to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Cousins joins another All-Star big man Anthony Davis, forming the dynamic duo of "Boogie" and "The Brow" and serving as the frontline anchors for a team with a future that now looks brighter.
As part of that deal, rookie Buddy Hield, Langston Galloway and Tyreke Evans are now playing for the Sacramento Kings inside the game.
The Oklahoma City Thunder can now also field an even deeper squad inside the game thanks to their deadline acquisitions of former Chicago Bulls Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott.
The Dallas Mavericks also added an athletic rim protector at the deadline, as Nerlens Noel will be patrolling the paint for the team after he was dealt to them by the Philadelphia 76ers.
Fans may also want to try using the Toronto Raptors a bit more inside the game now that they have added some potential difference-makers in the form of the shot-blocking Serge Ibaka and the tough-as-nails wing defender P.J. Tucker.
In addition to all the players who have changed teams, developers have also taken into account the different draft picks that were dealt over the course of the trading season, and these matter whenever players start new MyGM playthroughs.
More details about other roster updates that may be released for "NBA 2K17" should be made available in the near future.
