Game 3 will take place in South Florida's American Airlines Arena and is set to be a fiercely contested game. The Heat jumped out to big leads in both previous games, but the Thunder came fighting back both games. In game one they not only fought back but went on to destroy the Heat in the fourth quarter, marking up a convincing 105-94 win. In Game 2, a similar pattern was emerging, with the Heat stretching out to an early big lead and the Thunder fighting back in the second half of the game. However, the Heat held off the Thunder fight back this time and Oklahoma were unable to close the gap in time, finally succumbing to the Heat 100-96.

Games 1 and 2 took place in Oklahoma, but with this year's NBA finals taking a 2-3-2 format, we now move to Miami for three games in a row. With the series currently tied, many would predict the Heat now have the advantage and opportunity to take a hold of the finals and gain a decisive lead in Games 3 through 5.

The Heat's postseason record at home is 8-2, after posting commanding figures there during the regular season of 28-5. The Thunder, however, during this year's playoffs had a record of 4-3 on the road, after a regular season record of 21-12.

Oklahoma will keep the same starting lineup for Game 3, dispelling rumors following Game 2 that changes would be made after the Thunder started sluggishly in both the opening two games.
